How it all began
“I’’m so honored to spend the rest of life with you. You’re not only the love of my life but my best friend.”
The picture above was taken moments after she said “yes.” Louis surprised Sequoi by giving her a box of German chocolates on a private boat on her thirtieth birthday in the pouring rain while wearing the scarf she had crocheted for him. The box held the sweetest and most precious gift he could ever give, the promise of a lifetime of love with an engagement ring. Our eyes were filled with happy tears as we started the next step of our life together.

Sequoi and Louis met at the beach after Louis was kind to her mom. Louis and Sequoi immediately connected and he invited her on a surf date. Their first kiss ended with them getting swept up by a wave and almost taken out to sea by the ocean’s blessing. They celebrate every full moon by doing dates, holding hands, and talking about absolutely everything and anything. Three years later we are best friends, true loves, and badass life partners. In other words, the honey bear and his pokemon/senorita. We’re honored by this next step in our life of adventure together!
